    Gul

For 50 years Gul has been at the forefront of watersports technical development and remains the largest UK based performance Apparel Company.Since the beginning in 1967, the philosophy has been simple-to-make the best product possible and support you at every level. It was in the early sixties that Dennis Cross, a man with a passion for surfing, decided that enough was enough. Although he loved surfing, the waters of the Atlantic were too cold, especially in winter! He, therefore, set about designing the first purpose built wetsuit for surfers.Dennis began designing and making the first wetsuit, this first model consisted of two pieces, a jacket with a beaver tail and separate trousers. This first wetsuit is rumored to have been made in the back of his split screen camper at Fistral Beach in Newquay, Cornwall. From this humble beginning, the Gul brand was born.By the early 70’s, Gul had created the ground breaking one-piece wetsuit, which was named ‘The Steamer’ due to the steam that came from your wetsuit when removing it on cold days! The term ‘Steamer’ is still used to this day to describe a full-length wetsuit.

    Ice Tools

We can´t control the nature. Which basically is the charm for all of us to enjoy to be out there. The permanent call of security in our self and the need for safety will push us to leave the comfort zone. But precisely this rejection causes this desire in our subconscious to escape from the daily. A bit of uncertainty and the freedom drives us to go out and charge our batteries to go ahead.

We are here in Bavaria, at the foot of the Alps and each of us shares the same passion, which is the basis of all developments at Icetools. We all love the adventure, the snow, the mountains, the uncertain, the uncontrolled nature. Our products, especially our line of protectors, have been thoroughly tested, improved and constantly challenged by us.

    Have fun outside!

    LINE

We’ve taken strides to surround ourselves with the right people. The freaks and weirdos, the misfit toys. The skiers ahead of their time, and the ones that don’t fit on linear, digestible planes. Why? Because the mainstream zeitgeist is boring. We’re looking for scrappy; the people that are a little rough around the edges, the freaks on the fringe. Because that’s where innovation happens. We draw inspiration from the folks pushing skiing in a different direction. It might seem like the wrong way, but it’s a defining philosophy that has led us to X Games Podiums, at the heart of the most memorable ski segments, and even to create some of the most exciting skis to date. It may not fit, it might seem a bit odd, and it might seem wrong. But breaking the rules is fun, and we’ve always enjoyed skiing the wrong way.

  • NSP

    NSP

NSP was born in 2001 from the vision of Bruce “Buzz” Hansen, a life-long surfer, skater and all round waterman.

While working on Maui as a custom surfboard builder, Buzz had an epiphany about producing affordable, versatile, durable and great performing surfboards. Buzz correctly realized there were everyday surfers who needed an affordable board that performed in Hawaii, yet they didn’t require “custom” or specialized competition or extreme surf boards.

His dream was a utilitarian surfboard that could ride in the back of a pick-up truck to the beach, be left in the sun all-day or loaned to a friend without fear of damage – of course it had to surf well enough to be given to his long-time surfing buddies, neighbors and friends.

The quest began, so Buzz summoned his friends working for a leading composites manufacturer with the goal to create a light, very durable surf board at highly competitive prices. Working together they introduced a new epoxy technology that would go on to revolutionize the industry and quite possibly recreational surfing. Weekend and occasional surfers no longer had to rely on the ill- performing “foamies” or be relegated to the used board market.

The code name during development was “New Surf Project”. Somehow the name stuck and “NSP” was established. The word “New” reflected the brands identity, using innovative technologies that were new to the market and a new way of thinking about the surf industry. Today we continue to use the word New to challenge us each and every year to produce more performance shapes, eye-appealing graphics and boards that intermediate to entry level surfers can be proud to ride!

NSP began selling in Hawaii and Australia in 2002 with immediate success, making surfing more accessible. In 2007 NSP was one of the first brands to produce SUPs based on the brand’s original concept of performance and value.

Today, NSP is one of the world’s largest brands in recreational surfing and stand-up paddle boards. Everyday new enthusiasts, young and old, go out and introduce their friends and family to the freedom of the sport and the brand.

Since 2013 NSP has produced some of the fastest SUP race boards on the planet, quickly racking up some of the most sought after and prestigious titles with the help of national and international athletes.

In almost 20 years, with hundreds of thousands of boards produced, our core values remain the same. NSP stays true to the vision of creating great performing, affordable, durable surf and paddle boards that allow everyone to catch more waves

  • Ride

    Ride

Founded in Redmond, WA. in late 1992, RIDE hit the market with only four board models and a vision - to create a snowboard company "for the people" built upon technical innovation, superior quality and "selling the dream." With a team of top pro and up-and-coming riders, a strong product line, a zealous ad campaign and quite a bit of hard work, the first few years were a success.

In order to meet the growing demand of snowboard and skateboard-influenced clothing, in 1994, Ride launched an outerwear and streetwear line under the brand name Cappel Clothing. Today, this line has evolved into a far more technical outerwear line, providing a phenomenal fusion of street fashion and snowboard function known today as Ride Snowboards Outerwear. The Cappel series has since made its triumphant return in the 05/06 collection of Ride Outerwear.

Shortly after relocating to Preston, Washington in 1995, RIDE launched the Preston brand of snowboard bindings. RIDE's proprietary technology made Preston Bindings one of the best-known binding names in the industry. Eventually incorporating the Preston name into the RIDE line, today RIDE Bindings are the market share leader in aluminum bindings and continually lead the charge of lightweight durability, mobility and response.

In conjunction with the Preston brand, the snowboard boot category for RIDE also planted its roots in 1995. From fairly meager beginnings, the RIDE Boot program has grown into its own and has become an award-winning collection. Today, with revolutionary design features such as our In2grated Construction with Body Active Intuition Liners, RIDE boots are the lightest weight, shortest-length performance boots on the market, hands down.

Also in 1995, Ride acquired the most respected snowboard manufacturer in the world, Thermal Snowboards Inc. of Corona, California. Later known as Ride Manufacturing, the facility used state-of-the-art computer technology, aerospace engineering, aircraft-grade tooling and other leading-edge techniques to design, test and manufacture the most advanced snowboards on the market. Today, Ride Manufacturing has expanded into a new facility in Asia, doubling its manufacturing space and equipment arsenal. Ride’s snowboard program continues to design industry-leading snowboards utilizing its Thermal Construction Technology process and which feature unique performance innovations like Cleave Edge™, Slimewalls® and Carbon Array power distribution. Taking tech's to the next level, Ride now incorporates additional "innoventive" technologies such as Membrain™ topsheets, Pop Rods™ and Pop Stixs™.

Recently relocating to Seattle, WA., RIDE has never strayed from our original goal of technical innovation, superior quality and "selling the dream," and continues to maintain its distinctive brand identity within the snowboarding market. For RIDE, it's not about being the biggest ... it's about being the best at what we do and truly becoming a great snowboard company "for the people." Through the passion and dedication of all of RIDE’s employees and global affiliates, RIDE has firmly established itself as a snowboard industry leader.

Ericeira more to the point right on top of one of the best right handers in Europe, Coxos. Surfing was the driving force behind the partners in the beginning and the passion for surfboard design and construction. The name Semente meaning seed in English was chosen and represented the base of a project that would grow and flourish in the future.

    SHRED

«Shred and Slytech began with a friendship and a shared commitment to enhancing our time in the mountains. And through the years, we’ve remained true to these roots.

I first met Carlo in the winter of 2005. When not working as a materials engineer, he raced for fun and tapped his extensive experience with carbon fiber to develop his own ski equipment. As someone who constantly tinkered with his own gear, I was intrigued by Carlo’s work. Consequently, we quickly became friends and began collaborating on prototypes. Soon, some of the best skiers in the world began sporting his shinguards. And within a year of working together, I was able to take these products to the top of the Olympic podium. From this momentum and thirst for innovation, Slytech Protection was born.

Immediately, we began turning heads. Yet our vision transcended the race course. I was part of a new generation of skiers who raced but didn’t wish to be defined or constrained by it. We loved hitting the park, slashing pow turns, and hucking cliffs. Like many of my friends, I was just as influenced by freeskiing and snowboarding as I was by racing. Consequently, Carlo and I aimed to embrace and unite all snowsports. At the time, this approach was as unique as it was raw.

In the fall of 2006, we debuted Shred Optics. As with Slytech, our plans were simple. We wanted to develop products that looked as good as they performed—and not just on the race course, but also in the park and backcountry. Our inaugural collection consisted of a single goggle frame, available in a healthy dose of neon. Iconic, original, loud—whatever you called them, our goggles were visible from across the valley. About this same time, we also launched the first soft back protector with Slytech, which was soon worn by top freeskiers, snowboarders, and racers.

With hustle and grit, we worked to further refine our vision for Shred and Slytech. When not slaving away over R&D inside a garage, Carlo hijacked a corner of his father’s office in Venice, Italy for our global headquarters. Meanwhile, we ran our US operations out of my attic in Park City, enlisting our friends as sales reps. We didn’t have a business plan, but we had plenty of ambition.

Today, we have a few more products to our name, but our commitment to innovation is stronger than ever. Whether developing helmets, back protectors, sunglasses, or goggles, we’re pioneering fresh technology and emerging as a market leader—while proudly maintaining our status as underdogs. By blending performance and style, Slytech and Shred help you have fun, stay safe, and push your limits. And ten years in, we’re still building the products of our dreams.»

  • Streamlined

    Streamlined

Streamlined Windsurfing was established in 1982 by David Dominy to design and produce high performance windsurfing components. Back then Dave’s first design was the first, the original, ‘Tendon’ universal joint. This design has become the industry standard throughout the world and is arguably the most imitated design in all of windsurfing.

To this day our own ‘Streamlined Tendon’ joint has proven over the years to be strongest and best performing of them all. After the ‘Tendon’ joint came our popular ‘Quick-six’ downhaul system. Then the all alloy, ‘Super-lite’ extensions, and then, the incredible and innovative “Dyneema Boom Head”.

As you get to know Streamlined and our designs you will see performance is our top priority, second only to durability. Further, our manufacturing quality is well known, guaranteeing you can’t get more for your money. Our ultimate goal is to enhance your windsurfing experience.

    ‘Ride hard, ride Streamlined’!

    UFO

"Do you believe that aliens exist?"

The question remains more current than ever, but as far as I'm concerned there has been proof of their presence for at least 40 years, that is from when I resolved to create Ufo Plast. The journey began in the lands of Tuscany, where I was born and where, together with my brother, I tried to bring to life fantastical ideas in a small workshop. Hours and hours, even entire nights spent casting, printing, polishing and swearing, like any down-to-earth Tuscan who never gives up, just as those who know me are all too aware of. Maximum dedication to propose items unfamiliar to the market but which in a short time became essentials and the pride of off-road sportsmen.

All this happened a long time ago and achieved results have been a source of enormous satisfaction. However I do not feel as thanks to new technologies. Also thanks especially to a passionate team which I have seen grow and remain united, brilliantly facing the challenges which the market imposes upon leaders of the sector. This extraordinary determination which I have tried to apply to every project and encourage in every single one of my collaborators, has also been nurtured by the unique emotions of world level victories, by the historic names of pilots involved with Ufo Plast and who shall remain protagonists of Motocross and Enduro forever.

Today the greatest satisfaction is that we continue to supply high quality products to young pilots who must grow, just like the most demanding professionals. A special thank you goes to all those who have chosen and continuous commitment to the production of items for your endeavours is an expression of our gratitude for your approval.

Thank you with all my heart!
