Airwave 1650 DW – dedicated downwinder foils
These high aspect glider style wings are specifically designed for downwind foiling. The outline and foil profiles combine hydrodynamic efficiency, deliver higher speeds and excellent pump characteristics in downwind conditions. These foils are based on high-performance windsurf/kite race designs and have been adapted for the slower speeds of downwind SUP. Pair with our RW 245 downwind rear wing.

Key design characteristics:
– Early take-off and sustained flight
– Reduced profile for high-efficiency
– Excellent pumping characteristics for downwind racing
1650 surface
The surface of 1450 cm² in combination with the 245 cm² back wing leverages your pumping action while creating appropriate lift and stability at very low speeds, making this the ideal setup for small waves and swell that doesn’t have that lift you see from bigger waves.
80cm Mast
The complete NSP Airwave set 1400 come standard with the 80cm mast as it is easy to learn on and comes with enough performance potential to stay in your quiver for a long time. T
245HA Back Wing
The newly redesigned RW 245 High Aspect (HA) weighs 0.16kg has less drag, needs less pumping, offers a longer ride, and is best suited for downwinding and windsurf foiling. Freeride windsurf foilers should use this wing in combination with the 85 Fuselage as it is the most stable size in the fuselage range.
Precision manufacturing means 100% alignment of the wings and heavy-duty construction. The NSP Airwave is ideal for both entry-level and advanced foilers.
