MAGMA METEOR 5.4.3 FZ

450,00  260,00

It is the wetsuit of your choice if you don’t want to stay home during winter sessions.

The MAGMA 5.4.3mm is the weapon of choice if you want to spend the whole winter in the water. It is the suit our cold water team is using in Iceland, Vancouver or Sweden.

The Magma+ is one of the best material out there: not only its fleece works as an effective insulator and heat generator, but it is manufactured to be extremely flexible to keep even the thickest suit very stretchy. In addition, it dries 30% faster than a classic fleece, you’ll never have to put on a wet wetsuit again.

Features:

  • DESIGNED IN 3D

When the industry standard is to develop 2D patterns and try to fit it on a 3D body, we decided to break new ground and take the opposite direction. We use computer design to model good-fitted wetsuits in 3D, then we employ an innovative software that converts it into a precise 2D pattern for the factory.

It creates a natural, second-skin fit that makes the MANERA wetsuits stand out.

– A GOOD FIT MEANS EVERYTHING –

Warmth: No water entry, no air pocket.
Durability: The neoprene is only stretched when moving.
Comfort: No over tight areas, comfortable armpits/crotch.
Style: Folds will never be fashionable.

Sealing prints

Sealing prints make the ankles and wrists stiffer. It has a joint role that keeps the water away and maintains the arms and legs panels in place.

  • Strategic structure

Some areas are very sensitive to friction, tensions and tearing. All MANERA wetsuits have been designed with a demanding brief including:

. Avoiding seams in tensions area, to maximize flexibility and strength.
. Making sure the seams are stretched vertically and not sideways.
. Removing seams from friction areas, which avoids rash and increases stretch capacity.
. Reinforcing strategic parts and panels right where it needs to be.

  • Fusion cut

The different neoprene layers are fused on the tips of arms and legs to make it thinner and more aesthetic. It protects the inside neoprene foam (AIR FOAM) by covering it.

  • Back knee emboss

The back of the knees is an area that requires specific care. The BACK KNEE EMBOSS helps the neoprene to bend more naturally for greater comfort during flexion of the knees.

  • Water strainer

A Wetsuit leg filled up with water is a very uncomfortable issue: The MANERA water strainer panel is here to prevent it. The leaky + perforated neoprene drains the water out of your leg instantly to let you continue the session in the best possible conditions.

  • SD2 tape 2.0

The neoprene layers are glued together and then “blind-stitched” (the needle does not go through the neoprene layer completely). Then the SD² tape is welded to the seam by an air heater machine. This innovative process brings more durability, waterproofness and flexibility to our wetsuits.

  • Triplex MAGMA

The Triplex MAGMA is designed for warmth.

Re-flex skin / Protection
Air-foam / Insulation
Magma + / Warmth & fast drying

These three materials brought together create a warm, durable and comfortable wetsuit.

How to choose the right wetsuit size?

It’s crucial for us at MANERA that our customers easily find their size without getting a tape measure all over their body. We have therefore worked extensively on our size charts so that everyone can find their size at a glance, and with information already at their disposal.
Everyone knows their weight and height, so we only use this data, as well as some friendly advice:

1. Weight is the priority: Find your weight in the grid, then your height. Choosing your wetsuit is first a matter of volume, so weight comes before height.

2. It is necessary to feel tight when trying on our wetsuits. We offer an innovative 3D cut; it should be very tight. Neoprene loosens after a few hours in the water; if you take a size that is too loose, the wetsuit will not fit properly after a few sessions.

3. We give size ranges because each body type is unique. When you are in the low range of the interval (ex: 70kg for a size M man), you will have a rather loose wetsuit. When you are in the high range (ex: 78kg for a size M man), you will have a rather tight fit.

4. Inter-sizes "tall": We recommend a size "T" for a tall and thin morphology, from 10kg below your height on (ex: 70kg for 180cm = ST).

5. Inter-sizes "short": We advise the size "S" for a short and wide morphology, from 10kg above your height on (ex: 75kg for 165cm= MS).
